Kids become Conservation Crusaders at the Australian Reptile Park
Calling Conservation Crusaders everywhere! These school holidays The Australian Reptile Park is all about our endangered animal ambassadors with stacks of cool conservation activities on offer for the kids and inspirational species to see.
The Australian Reptile Park will be introducing a BRAND NEW experience for kids for these holidays. ‘The Conservation Crusaders License’ gives children the opportunity to take a journey through the Park to learn about some of the conservation stars of the Park and become a registered Conservation Crusader at the end of their day.
Exclusive to the upcoming holidays, the BRAND NEW Conservation Crusaders Show will run daily at 1:00pm. The show is set to engage and educate visitors about the Park’s most threatened species. Complementing Conservation Crusaders, regular park hero experiences will continue throughout the July School Holidays including daily feeding of Elvis (Australia’s crankiest crocodile), Reptile shows, Tasmanian devil show & koala shows, as well as the walking of Hugo the giant Galapagos tortoise, Kraken the Komodo dragon and resident dingoes, Fred and Adina.
The ever-popular roving keeper program is back, giving families the opportunity to meet and touch a variety of reptiles and mammals. Adding to the animal interaction are the dingo puppies that have taken social media by storm! During the Winter school holidays, visitors will have the opportunity to meet the pups and even have their photo with them.
Kids curious about The Australian Reptile Park’s most endangered species can join one of the many the Kids to Keeper programs which are themed for the school holidays with all participants. The Australian Reptile Park’s children’s programs provide exclusive behind-the-scenes access and greater insight into being a zoo keeper. To book your child/s place, Click here .
