School Holidays – 60 Years of Saving Lives, Bringing Smiles & Conservation
Australian Reptile Park Celebrates School Holidays with Momentous 60th Birthday Extravaganza
The Australian Reptile Park is turning sixty years old and is throwing a two-week long birthday extravaganza to celebrate during the school holidays. July 2018 marks the six decades the park has been open as ‘The Australian Reptile Park’ and the milestone is a huge achievement for the Central Coast wildlife sanctuary which now welcomes over 250,000 visitors a year.
The upcoming school holidays will be all about the celebration of the momentous occasion with the biggest birthday party ever! Including jumping castle, mega slide, face painting, fairy floss and limited edition merchandise that will only be on sale these holidays!
Also adding to the celebration, The Australian Reptile Park’s four new Dingo Puppies have reached the perfect age to come out and say hello to visitors! Each day guests will be able to have a cuddle and a photo taken with the gorgeous pups – maybe even a kiss! Other animals on offer for photo encounters are koalas, baby alligators and giant Burmese pythons!
Experience our NEWEST attraction and feed WILD rainbow lorikeets daily, watch in awe as they gather around each day at the allocated feeding times and giggle as they make themselves at home potentially on your head!
And by popular demand, just for the 60th Celebration, there will be the return of daily appearances by our resident Tyrannosaurus Rex to the delight of visitors as a small taste of the Dinosaurs Alive! event The Park runs during the Summer Holidays drawing record crowds.
Staying true to The Australian Reptile Park’s hands-on experience, roving keepers will also be moving about the Park with their animal friends to allow guests to meet and pat many of the animals that call The Australian Reptile Park home.
Kids itching to be mini zookeepers at The Australian Reptile Park can join one of the many the Kids to Keeper programs. The Australian Reptile Park’s children’s programs provide exclusive behind-the-scenes access and greater insight into being a zoo keeper. Kids 2 Keeper programs cater for children of all ages with programs in place for children aged 3-18 years. Full details can be found online here
