Date Published: January 23, 2023

It's only two sleeps now until Santa makes his way down under, and the animals at The Australian Reptile Park are incredibly excited! In an adorable video released by the wildlife park, the baby animals born in 2021 at the award-winning Central Coast wildlife sanctuary are seen showcasing their Christmas spirit, to celebrate their FIRST EVER Christmas!

Animals featured in the video include Poppy the wombat joey, Stanley the Tasmanian devil joey, Rupert the koala joey, Linguini the ringtail possum joey and other adorable joeys born this year.

Head Keeper at the Australian Reptile Park Daniel Rumsey said, “We love getting into the Christmas spirit here and so do our animals! We needed to make sure these little guys had the perfect first Christmas and I think we pulled it off!”

Mr Rumsey continues, “Although the park itself closes on Christmas Day, a few keepers still come to work to ensure the animals are fed and enjoying Christmas just like everyone else. It’s just as important to us that we spend our Christmas with these guys as well as our human families, they are a part of family too!”

All the animals seen in the video can be seen at the Australian Reptile Park during the school holidays. These school holidays the Australian Reptile Park goes back to the prehistoric period and is running a promotion calledJurassic Zoo!A Tyrannosaurs Rex, Indoraptor and Pachycephalosaurus are on the loose throughout the park and the three species will take daily walks in which kids and adults are able to interact with prehistoric beasts.
