The Australian Reptile Park's Animal Encounters give visitors the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the stars of the Australian Reptile Park! These incredible zoo experiences have limited capacity, we recommend booking in advance.
What's included in your Animal Experience?- A 20 to 80-minute hands-on animal experience - either behind the scenes or within an enclosure
- Up-close interaction with animals, hosted by an experienced keeper
- Take amazing photos to remember the experience forever!
Dingo Puppy Encounter
Group limit: Up to 6 people per session
Duration: 20 minutes
Time: Daily at 1:30pm
Age limit: 4 years and over. Participants under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who has also paid for the experience.

Wombat Joey Encounter
Group limit: Up to 6 people per session
Duration: 20 minutes
Time: Daily at 2:00pm
Age limit: 4 years and over. Participants under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who has also paid for the experience.

Koala Encounter
Group limit: Up to 6 people per session
Duration: 20 minutes
Time: Daily at 10:30am
Age limit: 4 years and over. Participants under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who has also paid for the experience.

Behind the Scenes Tour
Group limit: Up to 8 people per session
Duration: 90 minutes
Time: Daily at 2:30pm
Age limit: 4 years and over. Participants under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who has also paid for the experience.

Reptile HQ
Group limit: Up to 9 people per session
Duration: 20 minutes
Time: Daily at 12:00pm
Age limit: 4 years and over. Participants under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who has also paid for the experience.

Aussie Animals Encounter
Group limit: Up to 8 people per session
Duration: 50 minutes
Time: Daily at 11:00am
Age limit: 4 years and over. Participants under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who has also paid for the experience.

Elvis VIP Encounter
Group limit: Up to 2 people per session
Duration: 20 minutes
Time: Daily at 1:00pm
Age limit: Strictly 18+
* Price includes general admission per participant, VIP access to the Elvis Show and one FREE alligator photo pass!
Photo Experiences
At the Australian Reptile Park, you can get your photo taken with a koala, baby alligator, Burmese python or tawny frogmouth at our daily photo sessions.
Throughout the year, as we welcome new residents to the Park, you might have the chance to get a photo with a Tasmanian devil joey or even a wombat joey!
Things to note
- Participants under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who has also paid for the experience
- Suitable clothing and footwear must be worn on the day (long pants are recommended to avoid scratches)
- To ensure the wellbeing of our animals, Animal Encounters may be cancelled due to extreme weather or other conditions.
- Prices for Animal Encounters DO NOT include general admission to the Park.
- Bookings for Animal Encounters are non-refundable. In the event that you cannot attend your booked time, we will endeavour to arrange another time, subject to availability.
- Participants under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who has also paid for the experience
